Meet Kirsten....

This broad was nominated by her loving mom;
For my daughter Kirsten:
I look at you and see this amazing young woman, poised, gracious, caring, intuitive, loving, strong willed (read stubborn!), articulate and beautiful.  In an instant I go back to that very cold day in January when you were born. You were so small Daddy could hold your head in his hand and your toes barely reached the bend in his arm.  It was the beginning of a remarkable journey.  How blessed I am to be a part of it.

Meet Mere....

Nominated by her friends, Meridith is one rock'n snowboarder, mountain biker, softball player, and pretty much anything she puts her mind to broad who loves the color pink. Plus she kicked cancer (in the ass). What more can we say...

Meet Margaret....

A bold and fiery broad just like the pattern, Margaret was nominated by her daughter. Margaret declared black and white to be her colors and loved the scent of orchids. She was a mom not only to her seven amazing kids, but anyone lucky enough to call them a “friend.” Big props to our moms who have taught us how to love…unconditionally.

Calling all broads...
We've added six more patterns into the mix and need some names!  Know a bandit worthy broad?  Tell us why in a comment below; send us an e-mail (findyours@broadbandits.net); or post it up on our facebook page by February 28th. If selected you'll get a bandit of your choice, stitched up by yours truly.

Warmly,
The Broads

I recently came across this photo while I was "sifting" through digital pictures to post onto our facebook page - it got me wishing for dry dirt roads.
This past summer I did my first century and I look forward to doing a few more next season. My bandit was a faithful companion during my training rides- it's a perfect fit under the helmet.
Admittedly, I feel a bit guilty thinking about summer with all the beautiful powder here in Vermont.
What about you - are you enjoying all this fluff, or counting the days 'till daffodils?

Thanks for visiting Broad Bandits. We are busy at work getting our site finished up and orders out to Broads around the country. Broad Bandits are ambitious headbands for ambitious broads. Backed with bewitching velvet these bandits are no-slip no-damage headbands and handmade in Vermont. Know an inspiring broad and want to nominate her to be a bandit? Just send us an e-mail and tell us why. If you have comments, suggestions, or custom orders please send us an e-mail to findyours@broadbandits.net.
